2005 NYC Marathon

Well, it’s official. My guaranteed entry into the 2005 ING New York City Marathon on Nov. 6th has been accepted. (I had a guaranteed entry based on my time at the Skunk Cabbage Half-Marathon here in Ithaca in April.

I think this is by far the earliest I’ve actually paid money to enter a race. Hopefully [...]

We Now Interrupt Your Regularly Scheduled Messages

As all of you know, the recent earthquake and tsunami in the Indian Ocean have caused an amazing amount of damage and it’s unfortunately likely that waterborne diseases like cholera and malaria will cause more disaster. Even though reports are coming in more quickly now, photos often say more than words: DigitalGlobe and WaveOfDestruction.org.
