Well, I’m trying a blog as part of my website. I’ve got to hack the default WordPress templates more, but that’s probably going to wait for a few days. Maybe I’ll also take the time to fix some of the CSS problems with the main site as I integrate the blog into the full site.

My main homepage is http://geoffhutchison.net/ and I’d eventually like to integrate my Gallery PHP photo album, my default pages, and the blog into one site, or at least one overall look and theme. Not that tough technically, but there’s this “lack of free time” thing that seems to cause problems.

For all of you new visitors to this website, this will be something of a personal blog. Who am I? I’m currently a postdoctoral researcher at Cornell University, studying materials chemistry, nanoscience, and molecular electronics, among other things. If you want to know more, I suggest browsing the rest of my site. My blog will likely cover science, running, and computers/coding of a science bent, among other topics.

I suspect updates will be fairly rare.
